Deralakatte: Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic spirit, at Mangaluru Group of Institutions on August 15.
Chief guest Dr Rohan S Monis, the Chief Administrative Officer of Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, hoisted the National flag. Delivering his Independence Day address, he said that the real freedom highlights respectful behaviour towards each other and is about carrying out every minute work with devotion. “We can build and stronger and more independent country by fulfilling our tasks responsibly”, he said.
Dr Anita Titto, College Trustee and Director (Admissions and Communication), Dr Beena Benito D’Souza, Principal, Mangaluru College of Allied Health Sciences and Dr Mohammad Rameez, Principal, Mangaluru College of Physiotherapy were present among the dignitaries. Aleena John, lecturer, compered the programme. Khateejath Sahla delivered a vote of thanks.
